- Data sent to the API is processed to generate responses and is not stored by OpenAI for training purposes
- OpenAI may retain API data for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes for a limited time
For more information about OpenAI's data practices, please review their API data usage policies.
4.3 PostHog Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our website and to improve our service. PostHog collects:
- Pages you visit and time spent on each page
- How you arrived at our site (referral sources)
- Your general geographic location (country/city level)
- Device and browser information
- Interactions with our signup and onboarding flow
PostHog uses cookies to collect this information. The data is processed by PostHog and is subject to PostHog's Privacy Policy. We only create user profiles for identified (logged-in) users, not anonymous visitors.
You can opt out of PostHog tracking by using browser privacy extensions that block analytics scripts, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.
4.4 Your Control
You can control what information is used for personalization by:
- Updating your profile information in your account settings
- Removing or modifying children's information
- Choosing not to use personalized features (though this may limit the relevance of recommendations)
- Using browser privacy extensions or "Do Not Track" settings to opt out of analytics
4.5 Advertising Measurement (Meta and OpenAI)
We use the Meta Pixel on our offer and checkout confirmation pages to measure visits, checkout starts, and completed purchases from our advertising. Meta receives information about these actions, the offer and purchase amount, and browser information such as your IP address, device information, page URL, and cookie identifiers. Meta may associate this information with your Facebook or Instagram account to measure and personalize advertising.
We also send purchase events from our server to Meta through the Conversions API, including a hashed email address, IP address, browser information and advertising cookie identifiers, for measurement and deduplication with the pixel. Hashing transforms your email into a coded value that Meta can match to its records. We do not send your name, raw email address, or children's profile information as event fields. We disable Meta's automatic event collection. We also keep campaign tags with your checkout so we can measure which ads lead to purchases.
We do not load the Meta Pixel when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. We record this choice when you start checkout and also skip the server-side purchase event for that checkout. You can use browser controls to block advertising cookies; blocking cookies alone does not disable server-side purchase measurement. For information about Meta's use of data and its advertising controls, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
When we advertise in ChatGPT, we use OpenAI's measurement pixel in the same way: it records that a visit came from an ad (a click identifier in the page address, kept in a cookie for 30 days) and reports completed purchases, with the offer and amount. We also send those purchases from our server to OpenAI's Conversions API with a hashed email address, IP address and browser information, so the two reports are matched and counted once. The same rules apply: no pixel and no server event when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, and no name, raw email address or children's profile information in any event. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for how OpenAI uses this data.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our service (such as OpenAI for personalization, hosting providers, and analytics services)

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use industry-standard security practices including:
