Sometimes you need more than a script. Sometimes you need a sidekick .
Coplay Club offers one-to-one family coaching with Travis Greenlee. Our guides and scripts handle the everyday moments; Travis works with you on the patterns underneath them, shaped around the actual kid in your living room.
It's thirty relaxed minutes, and you'll leave with something useful either way.
Travis, your sidekick
When a guide isn't enough
Our library gives you the words and the plan. Coaching is for when the same moment keeps coming back, because every kid runs on their own wiring and some knots want a person rather than a page.
The transition wars keep escalating
The scripts help, and still every evening ends in a standoff over the controller, the tablet, or bedtime. When it repeats night after night, Travis helps you find what's driving it and change the shape of the whole routine.
Big feelings are running the house
Frustration boils over, anxiety shows up at school, and losing a game ends the afternoon. Travis works in social-emotional learning and self-regulation, with real strategies your kid can actually use and ways for you to coach them through it.
Your kid doesn't fit the chart
Age ratings and skill tags cover the general case, and your kid is a specific case with their own sensitivities, obsessions, and sparks. Coaching turns general advice into a plan built around the actual child in your living room.
You want to referee less and connect more
You're done feeling like the screen police, and you'd rather be the teammate. Travis coaches the parent side too: communication habits, family rhythms, and the courage for the harder conversations, brought with lightness instead of shame.
Meet Travis
Travis has spent 22 years in education—Montessori, Reggio Emilia, outdoor and experiential learning—working with kids from pre-K through 8th grade, and he has coached thousands of parents through tricky moments. He runs his own practice at Parent Sidekick and sits on the Coplay Club expert advisory board, where he makes sure every script we publish is grounded in child development and tested in real life.
He has coached our own family for years. That's why he's on this page: we don't recommend anyone we wouldn't call ourselves.
“Parents are the best coaches their kids will ever have.”
That's the belief Travis teaches every day, and it shapes how he coaches: the goal is to make you the expert on your own family, until you don't need him anymore.
How it works
A free discovery call
Thirty minutes with Travis about your family: what's working, what's stuck, and what you want more of. You'll leave with something useful either way.
A plan shaped to your family
If it's a fit, Travis proposes a coaching rhythm built around your situation and walks you through the options and rates on the call.
Ongoing sessions, virtually
Regular sessions with practical strategies to try between them, guided by a coach who already speaks the Coplay language of scripts, rituals, and play.
Coplay Club members get priority on Travis' calendar. His practice runs small on purpose, and we hold a lane for our families, so mention you're a member when you book.
Questions parents ask
Is this only about gaming?
Gaming is often the door, and what's behind it is the whole family: routines, transitions, big feelings, communication. Travis coaches all of it.
What does it cost?
The discovery call is free. If you decide to keep going, Travis walks you through the options and rates on that call, so there's no commitment before you've met him.
Do I need to be a member?
No. Coaching is open to everyone, and members get priority on his calendar.
